Fenway Park has been beckoning fans to watch the Red Sox play since it opened and renowned sports artist Al Sorenson has captured the ballpark as it appeared in its inaugural year of 1912 in this vibrant giclée print.
Exactingly reproduced from the artist's original acrylic painting, in rich detail you can see Fenway's original facade with fans, shown in their early 20th century dress, standing alongside Jersey Street, long before it was paved or renamed Yawkey Way.
From the horseback presence of stadium security to the Sterling Ale advertisement, this giclée of Fenway Park has as timeless an appeal as the ballpark itself. Available in two sizes (standard or mini), each giclée is printed on canvas and can be ordered with or without a wood frame.

Classic Fenway Park by Al Sorenson - Print & Artist Information
Each print of "Fenway Park" is a giclée, which is the name of the process used to reproduce fine art prints. Basically, the original image is stored on a digital source and then printed on demand using a specialized, high quality ink-jet printer. A giclée image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting and is printed using archival quality inks.
Each giclée of Classic Fenway Park is printed on canvas, which will not crease and is more durable than traditional fine art paper. The standard sized giclée is limited in edition to 300 prints, each numbered and containing the signature of artist Al Sorenson. The mini giclée is an open edition.
Sorenson painted this piece in his trademark style, which is noted for his dramatic use of color and acrylic paints. A former college basketball player, Sorenson has combined his love of sports and art to produce numerous acrylic paintings of famous ballparks and ballplayers.
