Papi Pops The Yanks is a 26" x 21" limited edition lithograph by Bill Purdom that captures one of the greatest moments in Red Sox history.

It's 1:22 a.m. on October 18, 2004 and David Ortiz has just swung at a 2-1 pitch from Yankees' reliever Paul Quantrill during Game 4 of the ALCS. The ball will land in the right field bullpen at Fenway Park, giving Boston an amazing come from behind victory over New York.

Big Papi's 12th inning at-bat was the first blow to the Curse, which was shattered in historic fashion as the Red Sox rallied from an 0-3 deficit to stun the Yankees. Ortiz's game winning home run was responsible for the first of eight consecutive postseason victories that ultimately led to the Red Sox's first World Series title in 86 years.
