The greatest hitter who ever lived is rarely seen in color in photos that date to his playing days but that's how Ted Williams appears in this undated yet timeless pose in which the Red Sox's most legendary player can be seen wearing and wielding the two things he is forever associated with: the number 9 and a baseball bat.
Teddy Ballgame was the first Red Sox to have his number retired (in 1984) and the oldest player, at 40, to win a league batting title, and this 8" x 10" photo of him is nicely preserved in a 12" x 14" wood frame. The photo is double matted within the frame, which comes ready to hang.
Size of framed picture: 12” wide x 14” high x 1” deep
