| Modeled after American artist C. M. Coolidge's famous 1870 painting, A Friend in Need, Massachusetts resident Terry Kyrios has updated the timeless classic of dogs playing poker with six members of the 2005 Red Sox subbing for their canine counterparts.
David Wells, Jason Varitek, Johnny Damon, David Ortiz, Tim Wakefield and Manny Ramirez are the Sox circled around the poker table playing cards against the memorable backdrop. Sox Playing Poker was inspired by Boston winning the wild card in 2005. Although the season ended in disappointment, Red Sox fans now have the perfect glossy paper poster to display in their game rooms.
